What it is
A strategy game about one rat who becomes twelve, bound at the tail, moving as one animal.
Dig, and the earth pays you
Every room costs scrap, and scrap only comes out of the ground you dig. Warrens, larders, a nursery that raises whatever you are short of — and one panel where you say what the colony should be.
Twelve tails, and each one weighs
Bind a rat to the King and he grows. Weight is width: a fat King no longer fits the crawl-ways, then not the runs. Each tail gives him something, and each asks a Rite before it will come.
It does not know you are there. Yet.
Cats in the yards, dogs down the shafts, a rival court of grey rats, gas from the grate and the flood from below — and a man with a lamp who works downward, chamber by chamber.

How it plays
- Tap the floor and the King goes there. Everything you will ever have comes from what he does first.
- Three orders are the whole of the nest's voice: GO is work, HOLD stands its ground, HIDE takes to the bolt holes.
- The game teaches itself, one step at a time, and the list in the corner always says what to do next.
- Plays anywhere a browser does — a phone held sideways, a tablet, a desk.
- Saves itself in your browser at every dawn. Three nests, so three runs at once.
- A bug button on the screen sends us a report and a picture of what you saw.
One rat, in a drain, under a city that has not noticed him.
